LeanTrack ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the LeanTrack iOS app.
The short version: we don't collect any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information including:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Your weight, body measurements, or health data
- Your location or device identifiers
- Usage analytics or crash reports
Data Storage
All data you enter into LeanTrack — including your weight entries, body measurements, and profile information — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.
HealthKit
LeanTrack requests read-only access to Apple HealthKit to display your steps, active calories, and walking distance. We only read this data to display it within the app. We do not write to HealthKit, and we do not transmit HealthKit data anywhere. Your HealthKit data is governed by Apple's HealthKit privacy guidelines.
Notifications
If you enable weight reminders, LeanTrack schedules local notifications on your device. These are handled entirely by iOS and do not involve any external servers or services.
Third-Party Services
LeanTrack does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data services. No SDKs are included that collect user data.
Children's Privacy
LeanTrack is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
